Exhibitions
Each Research Creation class ends with an exhibition, presenting the students’ works and the conclusions of the class to the public. Depending on the resources, on our cooperations, and on opportunities and limitations of the moment (Covid19!), some exhibitions in the past have been larger than others. Ideally we try to connect an exhibition with a conference or a public panel, to discuss their research- and arts-related themes and questions with experts, and to fuel the exhibitions into the academic and/or public discourse.
All, or most of our students’ art works are accompanied by an exhibition text, written in any possible genre – from poetry, a dialogue or a gloss to a history text, to a manual or a guide, or an explanation, or just numbers – depending on the projects’ individual modes of knowledge production. Working on the exhibition texts is an integral part of the Research-Creation process.
